TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and conditions define the contract between Opulent Web Solutions and the client.
AGREEMENT
1) Before work is carried out by Opulent Web Solutions the quote and agreement must be signed and dated by the client. By signing the agreement the client is accepting the terms and conditions laid out in this document.
2) Quotes to clients are valid for 30 days from the date stated on the quote.
ALTERATIONS
3) Changes to content can be made by the client during the construction of the site. Further changes after completion and approval by the client would incur an additional charge.
COPYRIGHT
4) Opulent Web Solutions is not liable for copyright laws related to text, images and other data supplied by the client. The client is responsible for all copyrights on such material and / or trademark permissions. Ownership of such materials will remain with the client or with its rightful copyright / trademark owner.
5) The client agrees that Opulent Web Solutions are free from harm in any way including any claims resulting from the client not obtaining all the required copyrights and / or any other necessary permissions.
TIMESCALE
6) Quoted completion date set out in the agreement is an accurate estimate but may vary according to changes requested by the client or delays in receiving content.
LIABILITY
7) The client agrees that Opulent Web Solutions have no liability for damages or losses sustained by the client for loss of earnings or claims made against the client.
8) Responsibility for the content of the website on completion of the project is that of the client's (e.g. material posted on message boards).
9) It is the client’s responsibility to arrange renewal of their hosting and domain names either through Opulent Web Solutions or another company.
10) Opulent Web Solutions will retain a backup all work created for a client for a period of at least one year. Re-instatement if the work is lost or erased will be at the cost of the client.
11) It is the client’s responsibility to check the final proof of work created by Opulent Web Solutions for accuracy.
SECURITY
12) Opulent Web Solutions are not responsible or liable for a client receiving any computer virus or spam emails from any source.
CANCELLATION
13) If this is to happen, the client must give 7 day's written notice to Opulent Web Solutions.
14) Any costs incurred by termination of the project are the responsibility of the client.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
15) Opulent Web Solutions reserves the right to use clients work in their portfolio.
16) Opulent Web Solutions reserves the right to display a link from a client’s website.
CONTENT
17) Quantity of content displayed on a standard web page provided by the client (unless agreed in the proposal) is restricted to: maximum of 3000 words per web page, maximum of 10 photos / images per web page, maximum of 20 links per web page (this does not include websites own linking structure). Anything over these limits may incur an additional charge. Increased limits may apply to e-commerce sites, photo gallery pages and other bespoke projects.
18) Any text content should be supplied by the client in MS Word document format or typed in an email. An additional charge may apply for excessive time taken re-typing documents for projects.
19) Opulent Web Solutions reserve the right not to upload a website to the public until final payment has been made.
PRICES, DEPOSITS & PAYMENT
20) Unless stated otherwise in the Client Agreement, an amount of 20% of the quote becomes immediately payable prior to commencement of work as a non-refundable deposit.
21) The balance is payable on completion of the work and must be received within 21 days of this date. Opulent Web Solutions reserve the right to retain / remove work if payment is not received from the client.
22) All work undertaken is the property of Opulent Web Solutions until full payment is received from the client.
23) Additional client work requested over and above that quoted requires the client to sign a revised agreement.
24) Opulent Web Solutions reserve the right to change prices at anytime.
25) Payment may be made by cheque, cash, bank transfer or debit/credit card through PayPal.
